How to See Less AI-Generated Content on LinkedIn

Reduce formulaic, repetitive posts without pretending that every use of AI can be detected with certainty.

There is no perfect way to identify every AI-assisted LinkedIn post. The more reliable approach is to reduce the sources, topics and writing patterns you find low-value—whether they were produced by AI or not.

Focus on low value, not invisible authorship

AI can be used for light editing, translation or full post generation. From the finished text alone, it is often impossible to know exactly how it was produced. A useful rule should target what bothers you: repetition, unsupported claims, generic lessons or a topic dominating every post.

Use LinkedIn’s AI-slop feedback when available

LinkedIn has publicly acknowledged the rise of low-effort, generic AI content and introduced additional feedback and ranking measures. Options may depend on rollout and account. See LinkedIn’s update on keeping conversations real.

Unfollow repeat offenders

If an author repeatedly publishes content you do not value, unfollowing is more effective than evaluating every post separately. You can normally preserve the connection while removing that source from your feed.

Describe the style you want less of

Useful exclusions include “generic motivational posts,” “AI hype without practical examples,” “engagement bait” and “formulaic career advice.” These are more actionable than a blanket rule against any use of AI.

Make room for genuine expertise

Follow practitioners who share specific experiences, evidence, examples or original analysis. Positive selection matters: the goal is not an empty feed, but a feed with a higher concentration of insight.

Can Feedwise prove that a post was written by AI?

No. Feedwise should not be used as proof of authorship. It filters according to the content, source and style preferences you set.
